A little pre-planning can save you hundreds of dollars and still give you a winter holiday just when you’re needing a break from Christmas shopping and all the frazzled nerves that sometimes just go with the season.

Traveling to the Smoky Mountains? The Casablanca Room at the Gracehill Bed and Breakfast is waiting for you! The room is an eclectic blend of American antiques in oak. The tray ceiling is a deep dark burgundy complete with a palm leaf fan. Other colors are warms greens, gold and cream. Hunchback trunks, tapestries, rattan, and elephants finish off the room.

The double-French exterior doors pass through an outside stone arch going onto a deck (view of the Townsend valley and the Chilhowee Mountain range) with a private sitting area with 2 swivel rockers and footstools. The deck leads to a veranda where you’ll enjoy the outdoor hot tub. The room also features a fireplace and flat-screen TV with a DVD/VCR tape player. The bathroom is more than perfect with two sinks and a whirlpool tub/shower combination.

The 2007 rate for this room with a king bed or two twins is $275.00 a night. A one night stay and visit for autumn color change October 5th through November 3rd is $300.00 a night.
